AI Education Framework for Europe

In moments of strong impact, which transform the whole social landscape and call into question much of what is taken for granted (socially, economically, culturally, technologically), education systems must adapt and reinvent themselves to provide new answers as give new hope to the new generation #NextGenerationEU and globally.

  • 1 Vision Our vision focuses on the urgency to accept that we must discuss how Artificial Intelligence should be integrated in the education systems of Europe.
  • 2Future We must prepare educators for the future of AI, now by enabling and empowering them through transformtive continuous professional developement.
  • 3 Education We need to create and design the meaningful environments that will facilitate the preparation of our education systems for the AI challenges and opportunities, which they have neither experienced or tried before.

Our Vision and committment is guided and built upon THREE pillars.
Technology,Green and Inclusion.
They are the support of our commitment.

Technology - because in the last decade the final frontier of exclusivity in human intelligence has been challenge by the emergence of new and emerging technologies and even more so now with AI.

Green - because there is No Planet B ! We need to balance the Digital, Green and Blue to give the next generation a world where we take the best from technology on a truly sustainable journey ón planet earth.

Inclusion - because we cannot design new educational environments if they are not targeted at and designed for and by all children of all nationalities equally as we co-create new social, economic, and political frameworks globally.

AI -4- for Everyone

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Divide if not addressed from the outset, will produce much more profound negative impacts and inequities than the previous and existing Digital Divide. We must guarantee through action and vision that it will not happen. Only through authentic, mindful and meaningful AI Education will we achieve this reality.

In this particular and very important challenge, we must also create and set up different layers of AI that consider and regard AI not only from a point of view of access alone. We must ensure from the outset, that citizens are challenged and enabled to develop both a critical and ethical awareness of the concept, reality and possibilities of AI in their daily lives.
